Installing a fence is one of the most sure-fire ways to keep foxes off your property. Practically any style of fence will work, as long as it is tall enough. For example, a six-foot fence will surely keep foxes from hopping over.
Scent and Taste Repellents
Another route you can take for keeping foxes away is by implementing scent and taste repellents on your yard. If you do your research, you will find all sorts of mixed reviews on the effectiveness of these kinds of repellents. Some people will swear by them and others who think flat-out believe that they are a waste of money. You can always try them out and see what kind of results you receive.
Remove Food Sources
You don’t want to give foxes any reason to enter onto your property. In other words, if possible, remove all food sources that would entice a fox to make its way to your yard. To begin, ensure that all trash can lids are securely covered. You may even want to consider investing in metal trash cans that have lids that screw on.
